6.30 p.m. drinks reception followed by dinner at 7.15 p.m. in the Lloyd

 

Society members are encouraged to join us for the thirty-second birthday dinner of the Oscar Wilde Society in the magnificent surroundings of the National Liberal Club. This will be a very special event as we will be launching the Joan Winchell edition of Selected Articles from The Woman’s World, Edited by Oscar Wilde, chosen, with an introduction and notes, by Eleanor Fitzsimons. Eleanor will be our speaker. Merlin Holland will propose the toast to his grandfather.

The price for a three-course meal with wine will be £100.

If you would like to come, please make your payment by 4 October via PayPal to membership@oscarwildesociety.co.uk or by cheque made out to the Oscar Wilde Society (see Summer Lunch notice for the postal address).

Please state when booking if you have any allergies. Please state if you would like to have the vegetarian or vegan menu. We regret that we are unable to accommodate any dietary requirements beyond these options.

Dress code: black tie or lounge suit for gentlemen, Wilde glamorous for everyone.
