Celebrating Don Mead

Don Mead led The Oscar Wilde Society as its chairman for some 30 years. In this festschrift gathering, Society members and officials gathered to honour Don in the former home of Oscar Wilde in Tite Street. Along with words from the Society’s honorary president Gyles Brandreth, author Geoff Dibb and the Society’s new chairman, Vanessa Heron, there is a musical selection sung by James Liu, a British/Chinese tenor, introduced by Darcy Alexander Corstorphine. You can also see the bust of Don made by actress and artist Amanda Root.

The Oscar Wilde Society thanks Jen Elliott-Bennett for hosting us.
