Robert Whelan, Wildean editor and Deputy Chairman of the Oscar Wilde Society, has a dining room piled high with books and needs his space and his table back!
Members of the Oscar Wilde Society were saddened recently to learn of the death of our longstanding member and patron Jonathan Fryer. It was Jonathan’s wish that his collection of books about Oscar Wilde should be donated to the Oscar Wilde Society and sold to raise funds. This includes the remaining stock of Jonathan’s beautifully written biographies of Oscar Wilde, Robbie Ross and others. At the same time, another two longstanding members of the Society offered their collections of Oscar Wilde books, also to be sold in aid of funds. It is with a deep sense of gratitude, therefore, to these three benefactors that we list below all of the titles which are available.
