Devon Cox, Society member and author of the wonderful study of Tite Street, The Street of Wonderful Possibilities, will lead us on a guided tour of Tite Street where Wilde, Whistler and Sargent, amongst many others, lived in the nineteenth century. We will walk (slowly!) up Tite Street and Devon will inform us of the rich history before us. When we get to the northern end we will walk to a local pub for a well-deserved rest at about 3:30pm. This walk is limited to 25 people so early booking is encouraged.
