The Oscar Wilde Society has an exciting and diverse programme of events all year round. We organise lectures, readings, and discussions about Wilde and his works, and visits to places associated with him. We also aim to highlight other events of interest which are organised by other entities.

Guided Visit to the Oscar Wilde Temple

March 2, 2019 @ 11:30 am - 1:30 pm

Twenty years in the making, The Oscar Wilde Temple is an immersive work of art and secular space honouring Wilde, one of the earliest forebears of gay liberation, whilst commemorating LGBTQ+martyrs and those lost to the AIDS crisis. For this exhibition, the entirety of the gallery, a Victorian former chapel, has been dramatically transformed to create an environment that celebrates Oscar Wilde.

This is a FREE event.
