Matthew read law at Cambridge and history at King’s College London. His work has been published in History Review, and he has previously written for The Week, London Lamppost and The Jakarta Post. A devoted Wildean, his first short story, A Dramatic Gesture, is based on Wilde’s short stories, and was published by Silver Sun Books. He is the Society’s events secretary.
